Preston North End has reportedly been linked with 28-year-old Czech international David Douděra. Douděra has been given permission to leave Slavia Prague. Anderlecht and Real Salt Lake have also been mentioned in connection with the defender. Slovan Bratislava is also exploring the situation, and initial contact has been made between the two parties.
Douděra is under contract until 2028, but Slavia is seeking a transfer fee and is willing to lower the price. A one-year loan is also considered a realistic option. Douděra has 18 caps and 2 goals for Czechia. His current Transfermarkt market value is €3.50m.
