Palmeiras has started discussions with Wolverhampton to sign Pedro Lima, a 19-year-old Brazilian right-back, and the talks are currently in progress. It is reported that the discussions for Lima began while Palmeiras was also negotiating with the English club for Jhon Arias. The same club emissary who was first sent to pursue a deal for defender Nino and later completed the Arias transfer is now leading the discussions for Lima. The Brazilian club's objective is to sign the player.
Lima has not had consistent playing time at Wolves, has played for their under-23 side, and was loaned to Porto B. He joined Wolves in July 2024 and his contract runs until 2029. He has one cap for the Brazil U20 team and his current market value on Transfermarkt is €4.00m. Wrexham and Atlético Mineiro have also been associated with an interest in the player.
