According to Gazzetta dello Sport, a clause was reportedly inserted by Napoli into Nigerian Centre-Forward Victor Osimhen’s contract at Galatasaray, stipulating that the Turkish champions must pay an $82.7 million (£61.3 million, €70 million) penalty to the Italian club if the striker is sold to Juventus. This situation is considered to aid the transfer ambitions of Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Arsenal.
The 27-year-old joined Galatasaray in July 2025, and his contract runs until June 2029. In the current Süper Lig season, he has scored 10 goals and provided 4 assists in 17 appearances. The Nigerian international has 52 caps and 35 goals for his country. His current market value is listed on Transfermarkt as €75.00m.
