Nottingham Forest view Lucas Bergvall as a potential replacement for Elliot Anderson, who is reportedly nearing a move to Manchester City. The 20-year-old Swedish midfielder, who has 12 caps for his country, has informed Tottenham Hotspur that he wants to leave for a new challenge this summer. Bergvall joined Spurs in July 2024 and made 23 appearances in the 2025/2026 Premier League season, scoring one goal and providing three assists.
Other clubs are also interested. Both Chelsea and Aston Villa had previous transfer enquiries for the midfielder rejected by Spurs earlier in the year. Reports from January 2026 stated offers of around €46 million were turned down. Tottenham set an asking price of over €65 million the following month. His contract with the club is valid until 2031.
