Nottingham Forest have shown interest in Lazio's Nigerian midfielder, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru. The Premier League club has made an exploratory inquiry for the player, who was born in 2001. Lazio value Dele-Bashiru at around 15 million euros plus bonuses, a fee which would allow the club to pursue new signings.
While initial contacts between the parties have been initiated, it is not yet known if the English club will make a concrete offer. Financial Fair Play constraints could also influence any potential deal, possibly forcing Nottingham Forest to operate mainly through loans with an option to buy. Dele-Bashiru, who joined the Italian club in July 2025 and has a contract until June 2028, has made 7 appearances in Serie A this season. He has 13 caps and 2 goals for Nigeria. Sunderland have also been linked with the midfielder.
