Norwich City is one of several clubs closely monitoring Plymouth Argyle's 24-year-old Swiss attacker, Lorent Tolaj. Stoke City is reportedly the most likely to sign him. Swansea City, Anderlecht, and FC Kopenhagen are also reportedly watching the player, and Celtic has been linked with him in the past.

In the 2025/2026 League One season, Tolaj has recorded 16 goals and 5 assists in 29 appearances. The forward has also scored 8 goals in 4 caps for the Switzerland U19 team. Tolaj, who is under contract with Plymouth until mid-2029, transferred to the club a year ago from Port Vale for €1.4 million. While his Transfermarkt valuation is €500,000, the English club is anticipated to seek a fee of several million euros for the forward; reports in January 2026 suggested a potential transfer fee of around €6 million, while it was reported in February 2026 that Celtic believed he could be signed for a low price.
