With one year remaining on his contract, Napoli is working to sell Romelu Lukaku and has set an asking price between €12 million and €15 million, partly to offload his substantial gross salary of approximately €11 million per season. Trabzonspor has shown interest and has already made contact regarding the 33-year-old Belgian striker.

However, Lukaku has not considered the proposal from the Turkish club at this moment, as he prefers to calmly evaluate other opportunities that might arise in the coming weeks. The forward is Belgium's all-time leading scorer with 93 goals in 132 appearances and has also recently been linked with clubs such as Anderlecht, Juventus, Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe. He joined Napoli from Chelsea in August 2024 for a fee reported to be €30 million. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €6.00m.
