With Noa Lang's departure from the club appearing imminent, Napoli is looking for a replacement and has inquired about a loan deal for Mathys Tel, a 20-year-old French centre-forward from Tottenham Hotspur. Napoli is also considering other players, including Daniel Maldini and Raheem Sterling. The club will only sign a replacement once Lang's exit is finalized.
Tel, a France U21 international, joined Tottenham in July 2025. His transfer involved a fee reported to be between €35 million and €40 million, in addition to a prior €10 million loan fee. His contract runs until 2031. In the current Premier League season, Tel has scored 3 goals in 15 appearances. Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray, and Roma are among several other clubs that have also recently been linked with the player.
