Italian clubs Roma, Napoli, and Torino have shown interest in Beto, a 27-year-old striker who represents Guinea-Bissau internationally. Fenerbahçe has also started negotiations with Everton for the player. It is reported that Everton is open to Beto's departure as he is not in their plans, and talks between the clubs are progressing positively. Representatives from Beto's agency, PR10, were invited to Istanbul by Fenerbahçe's management to begin official discussions.
It is understood, however, that Everton wants to sign a replacement forward before permitting Beto's departure. Beto joined Everton from Udinese in August 2023 for a fee reported to be €25 million, has a contract until June 2027, and has scored two goals in 22 Premier League appearances this season. In late 2024 and 2025, Everton's asking price was reportedly between €15 million and €20 million.
