A number of English clubs, including Manchester United, Tottenham, West Ham, and Crystal Palace, are interested in central midfielder Mamadou Sangaré. Chelsea FC is also interested in signing the Malian international, targeting a summer 2027 arrival. It is reported that the London club is considering an offer of approximately €45 million and would plan to let the player stay at Lens for an additional year before moving to Stamford Bridge.
RC Lens is said to be open to offers for the 23-year-old. There has also been interest from Saudi Arabia, although it is reported that the player prefers to remain in Europe. Sangaré joined Lens in August 2025 and his current contract runs until 2030. In the current Ligue 1 season, he has scored two goals and provided two assists in 22 appearances. Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €15.00m.
