Monza has re-entered the transfer market for a midfielder following a long-term injury to their captain, Matteo Pessina. Among the names being evaluated to replace him, the name of Kristjan Asllani has re-emerged.
Asllani, a 24-year-old Albanian international with 42 caps for his country, is considered to be leaving Inter. He joined the club in July 2023 and has a contract that runs until 2028. Several other Italian clubs, including Atalanta, Sassuolo, and Cagliari, have also been linked with the midfielder, whose market value is €12.00m according to Transfermarkt. Inter's valuation for the player was reportedly between €12-15 million in July 2026, after the club asked Cagliari for €10 million in June 2026.
