Minnesota United may be interested in Keylor Navas, a 39-year-old Costa Rican international. Navas has received an offer from MLS that his current club, Pumas UNAM, is unable to compete with. The goalkeeper's one-year contract with the Liga MX club concludes at the end of June, and a renewal is not finalized. Last month, Navas told KeryNews that he would have signed a renewal in December had Pumas approached him, and he confirmed the club has not made him an offer or started talks.
In addition to Minnesota United, Atlanta United and Orlando City are also mentioned as other potential MLS clubs interested in Navas. Minnesota United has only two goalkeepers on its roster. The veteran goalkeeper has 126 caps for his country and has made 26 appearances for Pumas in the domestic league this season. He joined the club in July 2025 for a reported fee of €1.7 million. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €800k.
