Milan has informed 28-year-old French international Christopher Nkunku that he is not in their future plans because manager Amorim does not consider him suitable for his style of play. This decision was made one year after the club paid 37 million euros for him. Manchester United is now considering acquiring the forward.

The English club had previously been interested in Nkunku, while Roma had also considered him a few months ago during the January transfer window. An exhibition match between Manchester United and Milan on August 15 is considered a potential opportunity for further discussions regarding the former Chelsea player. Nkunku's contract with the Italian club runs until June 2030, and his current market value is €25.00m, according to Transfermarkt. The forward has 18 caps and 2 goals for France and recorded 7 goals and 3 assists in 32 Serie A appearances last season.
