Manchester United has started preparations to sign 30-year-old Bayer 04 Leverkusen player Alejandro Grimaldo. The English club is closely monitoring the Spanish international left-back, who has 12 caps for his country and has a contract until 2027, but has not yet submitted an official offer. Grimaldo, who joined Leverkusen on a free transfer in July 2023, has drawn attention with 14 goals and 12 assists in 44 matches for his current club this season.
Beşiktaş is also pursuing the player to strengthen its left-back position, while Juventus and FC Barcelona have also been recently linked. His current market value is €24.00m, according to Transfermarkt. Recent reports from April 2026 suggest a transfer could be completed for around €12 million, although Bayer Leverkusen is reportedly demanding at least €20 million.
