Nicolò Tresoldi, a 22-year-old German-Italian striker, is on a list of 57 players being monitored by Jürgen Klopp. The striker has scored 12 goals in 24 appearances for Germany's U21 team.
Insider Florian Plettenberg reports that Tresoldi has also been a serious target for Spanish clubs. Barcelona recently showed concrete interest and explored the possibility of signing him but was unwilling to pay the approximately 50 million euros sought by Club Brugge. Atlético Madrid was also seriously interested, but the club would have needed to complete several significant sales to finance the transfer. Club Brugge's firm valuation was demonstrated when they rejected a reported €35 million bid from AS Roma in July/August 2026. Tresoldi's current market value is estimated at €25.00m by Transfermarkt.
