Liverpool has previously explored signing Michele Di Gregorio, a 28-year-old Italian and the current number one goalkeeper at Juventus. Liverpool could renew their interest as part of negotiations for Alisson Becker's potential move to the Italian club. Juventus has reportedly held talks with Alisson, who is expected to leave Liverpool at the end of the season. It is possible that during these discussions, Liverpool may once again ask for Di Gregorio.
The uncapped Italian international joined Juventus in July 2025, is under contract until 2029, and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €14.00m. In addition to the interest from Liverpool, he has also been linked with Tottenham Hotspur, Fiorentina, and Atalanta. Reports from March 2026 suggested a potential transfer fee could start at a base of €10-€11 million. A report in April 2026 indicated Juventus would need to receive at least €10.8 million to avoid a capital loss on the player they signed from Monza for a total of €18.8 million.
