El Hadji Malick Diouf, a Senegalese left-back and a regular starter at West Ham United, is reportedly the subject of interest from several major Premier League clubs, including Liverpool, Chelsea, and Newcastle United. A potential transfer could be influenced by West Ham's financial situation, as the club has a deficit of over £100 million and may need to generate revenue and lower its wage bill.
The 21-year-old Africa Cup of Nations champion has an annual salary of approximately £2.6 million and is contracted until June 30, 2030. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €28 million. Yatma Diop, a promoter from the player's former academy, stated that a transfer to another Premier League club that plays in European competitions could be a positive step for Diouf's career. Diouf is also expected to participate in the next World Cup. Diop also emphasized that any potential transfer is dependent on West Ham, as the player is still under contract with the club. Diouf, who has 17 caps and one goal for Senegal, joined West Ham in July 2025 from Slavia Prague for a transfer fee that was reported to be between €22 million and €25 million. In the current Premier League season, he has provided five assists in 22 appearances.
