Lazio is reportedly seeking young defensive reinforcements from the Bundesliga and is closely following Filippo Mané, an Italian and Senegalese defender owned by Borussia Dortmund. It is also said that the club is monitoring Fabio Chiarodia of Borussia Monchengladbach.
Mané, a central defender born in 2005, developed at Sampdoria's youth academy before moving to Germany in 2022. For Lazio, this would be a medium to long-term investment, partly due to the situation concerning Alessio Romagnoli. The deal would be a low-cost operation because Mané is an Under 21 player. The defender has four caps for the Italy U21 team, is under contract with Dortmund until June 2028, and has made three Bundesliga appearances in the current season. Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €2.50m.
