Kilmarnock have sold Dominic Thompson, a 25-year-old English-Jamaican left-back, to the Belgian top-flight club Beveren. He has signed a two-year contract with the club. Beveren was promoted last season after winning the Challenger Pro League. Thompson told Beveren's website that he was pleased to join a team with a lot of confidence following an unbeaten season.
Bob Peeters, Beveren's general manager for sports, described the defender as an explosive and athletic player with speed and intensity. Thompson joined Kilmarnock from Motherwell last summer, initially on a one-year deal before agreeing to an extension during the season. He made 41 appearances for Kilmarnock. Reports in July 2026 indicated that Kilmarnock and SK Beveren had agreed on a six-figure fee for the player. His market value is currently €400k, according to Transfermarkt.
