Juventus has made initial approaches for Remo Freuler, a 33-year-old Swiss international whose contract with Bologna is set to expire on June 30th. The club is considering him as a serious option among various candidates for the regista role. The club considers Freuler to be a low-cost, experienced reinforcement who is familiar with Serie A. Due to this interest, Bologna aims to accelerate renewal talks and has already offered the player an extension until 2027 with an option for an additional year.
In addition to Freuler, Juventus is also considering other international players such as Schlager and Guido Rodriguez, while Roma has also been linked with the Bologna midfielder. The midfielder has earned 84 caps and scored 11 goals for Switzerland. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €4.00m. It is reported that Bologna signed Freuler from Nottingham Forest in July 2024 for €4.5 million. He had previously moved to the English club from Atalanta in August 2022 for a fee of €9.0 million.
