SC Cambuur has signed 26-year-old winger Jason Ceka on loan from Elversberg. Ceka is a German player with Albanian roots and a former German youth international. His prospects for playing time at his parent club were limited following their promotion to the Bundesliga. He previously played for clubs such as FC Magdeburg and Dynamo Dresden, making 78 appearances primarily in the 2. Bundesliga, where he was involved in 27 goals.
SC Cambuur's technical manager, Lars Lambooij, described Ceka as a player with specific qualities, highlighting his creativity and ability to create danger through one-on-one situations and his passing. Lambooij stated this will give the team additional options in attack. Ceka joined Elversberg on a free transfer in July 2025, and his contract with the club runs until June 30, 2028. According to reports in August 2026, SV Elversberg had set an asking price of €400,000 for the winger.
