Inter are reportedly considering Roma's 21-year-old Italian midfielder Niccolò Pisilli as an alternative, as their effort to acquire Liverpool's Curtis Jones may be encountering difficulties. Curtis Jones is also said to be a target for Arsenal. According to the daily edition of Corriere dello Sport, there are currently no negotiations for Pisilli and only an appreciation for the player from the Nerazzurri. Roma considers the midfielder non-transferable, and he has also attracted interest from other Italian clubs. However, the same sports daily suggests that the Giallorossi might allow him to leave during the current summer transfer window if an appropriate offer were made.
Pisilli has four caps for Italy, a contract with Roma until 2029, and a current market value of €30.00m according to Transfermarkt. In the 2025/2026 Serie A season, he made 25 appearances, scored 2 goals, and provided 4 assists. Other clubs recently linked with the midfielder include Genoa and Como.
