Hull have made an enquiry for Newcastle's 34-year-old England international goalkeeper Nick Pope. Other Premier League clubs, including Leeds United and Ipswich, are also observing his circumstances. It is reported that Newcastle are considering changes to their squad after the past season. The goalkeeper is valued at approximately 10 million pounds.
Pope, who has 10 caps for England, made 27 appearances in the Premier League last season and his contract with Newcastle, whom he joined in July 2022, runs until 2027. His transfer from Burnley to Newcastle in July 2022 was for a fee of €11.5 million, while reports in May and June 2026 have suggested valuations in the £5 million to £10 million range.
