Despite several rumors suggesting a possible transfer of Terem Moffi to Hull City, the Championship club has reportedly not taken any specific actions to recruit the 27-year-old Nigerian attacker. Moffi, who has 23 caps and 6 goals for Nigeria, is expected to depart OGC Nice this summer after his situation there grew more complicated during the second half of last season. He was recently on loan at FC Porto, but the Portuguese club opted not to exercise their €8 million purchase option.

While past links to Everton and Leeds United did not result in a move, his situation is now reportedly being monitored by Hambourg SV, and Besiktas has also shown interest. Moffi joined Nice in July 2023 for a fee reported to be €22.5 million. His current contract runs until June 2027, and his market value is currently estimated by Transfermarkt at €8.00m.
