Fulham is considered one of the main contenders to sign 21-year-old Brazilian Shakhtar Donetsk winger Eguinaldo, but now face competition from Spanish club Espanyol, which is also pursuing the former Brazil U-20 international. Other clubs from La Liga and the English Premier League are also reportedly interested in the player, who joined his current club in July 2023 and could move during the summer transfer window.
In the 2025/2026 Premier Liga season, Eguinaldo scored 7 goals and provided 1 assist in 15 appearances. Eguinaldo's contract with the Ukrainian side is set to expire in June 2028, and his transfer value is five million euros. He moved to Shakhtar from Vasco da Gama for a reported €3.5 million, and in early 2026, reports suggested the Ukrainian club's asking price was up to €15 million.
