Fenerbahçe have had contact with 22-year-old Brazilian Marcos Leonardo from Al Hilal. The club is seeking to sign a striker before the Turkish transfer market closes on Friday. A transfer for Leonardo is considered possible, and he is one of three forwards the club has approached. The club has reached its foreign player quota, but the departure of Jhon Durán to Zenit is expected to create a space for a new player.
Leonardo joined the Saudi club in September 2024 and has one goal and one assist in nine league appearances this season. Other European clubs, including Atlético Madrid, Napoli, and Juventus, have also been linked with the player. In January and February 2026, reports indicated Atletico Madrid had agreed a loan with a €40 million purchase option. In late 2025, Al Hilal reportedly rejected a €25 million bid from CSKA Moscow. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €20.00m.
