Everton striker Beto proposed to Fenerbahçe

A new forward option from the Premier League has been identified for a potential transfer.

Fenerbahçe is searching for a forward during the winter transfer window, and other targets include Alexander Sörloth and Christopher Nkunku. A new option from the Premier League has been identified. Everton's 27-year-old Guinean striker, Beto, who also holds Portuguese citizenship, has been proposed to the club through agents. Beto was previously linked with Fenerbahçe during Ali Koç's presidency, but a transfer did not happen at the time due to financial issues. He subsequently moved to Udinese in Serie A before joining Everton.

Coach Domenico Tedesco will make the final decision on the potential transfer. Beto's contract with Everton is valid until June 30, 2027. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is listed as €20 million. The Premier League club signed him for €25 million at the start of the 2023-24 season. He has 10 caps and one goal for the Guinea-Bissau national team. In the current Premier League season, he has made one appearance and provided one assist. The Italian club Roma has also recently been linked with the forward.
