The Fenerbahçe midfielder is attracting interest from several clubs ahead of a potential winter transfer.

Eintracht Frankfurt has declared an interest in acquiring Sebastian Szymański, a 26-year-old Polish international attacking midfielder. It is reported that Fenerbahçe is willing to sell Szymański this winter if a suitable offer is made. In addition to the German club, RB Leipzig and PSV Eindhoven have also been mentioned as potential destinations. Olympique Lyon, a seven-time French champion, has now re-entered the competition for the player.

The French club, which was also interested in the summer, is reportedly prepared to offer 10 million euros. Fenerbahçe is seeking a fee of approximately 13 million euros. Szymański has 50 caps for Poland and is under contract until June 2027. His current market value is €12 million, according to Transfermarkt. In the current Süper Lig season, he has made 14 appearances, scoring one goal and providing one assist. Fenerbahçe acquired Szymański in July 2023 for a reported fee of €9.8 million. It was said that the club was asking for €15 million in October 2025, and it also reportedly rejected a €10 million offer from Atalanta in mid-2025.
