Crystal Palace targets Genoa forward Jeff Ekhator

The Premier League club has placed the young Italian forward on its winter transfer shortlist.

Crystal Palace has placed Genoa's 19-year-old Italian forward, Jeff Ekhator, on its winter transfer shortlist and could make a move for him in the January window, especially if the club fails to sign its primary target, Sidiki Cherif of Angers. According to information from England, the Premier League club would be prepared to offer 18 million euros to convince Genoa to sell the young prospect during the current window.

Ekhator joined Genoa in July 2024, is under contract until June 2029, and has also been linked with Atalanta and Roma. In January 2026, reports claimed Genoa is seeking a transfer fee of at least €20-25 million for the striker. He has 2 goals in 17 Serie A appearances this season and 1 goal in 4 caps for the Italy U21 team. Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €7 million.
