Chelsea intend to submit an official bid to Atalanta to sign 18-year-old Italian centre-back Honest Ahanor. The player was born in 2008. The club's plans for him include a potential loan to Strasbourg until June 2027 and a contract until 2033.
Ahanor has two caps for Italy and his current Transfermarkt market value is €30.00m. Brighton & Hove Albion have also been recently linked with the defender. In June 2026, Brighton reportedly had a bid of around €40 million rejected. Reports from July and August 2026 state Atalanta values the player at a minimum of €50 million.
