Celtic is reported to be interested in signing former Liverpool and Norwich defender Ozan Kabak on a free transfer this summer. The 25-year-old Turkey international has made 26 appearances and scored two goals for his country. He is set to leave Bundesliga side Hoffenheim when his contract expires in June and is viewed as a potential solution at a low cost for a Celtic defence that has experienced injuries this season.
Central defence is a priority area for the club ahead of the summer transfer window, and Kabak is on their shortlist of players. He has made 15 Bundesliga appearances for Hoffenheim this season, scoring four goals. According to Transfermarkt, Kabak has a market value of €5.00m. Roma, West Ham United, and Milan are among several other clubs that have also been recently linked with the defender.
