Örgryte, who are currently bottom of their league, have admitted there is interest in English defender Michael Parker, who has been linked with Celtic. The 21-year-old former West Brom player has been scouted by the Scottish champions after moving to Swedish football at the start of the year. He has impressed despite his club's position. Pontus Farnerud, Orgryte's sports director, confirmed that clubs have contacted him about the player, who is valued at £1.5 million.
Farnerud added that Parker's focus is on the upcoming match against Kalmar and declined to comment on whether any offers had been submitted. Parker has made 10 appearances in the Allsvenskan this season and is under contract until the end of 2028. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €2.00m. Several other clubs, including Newcastle United, Brentford, and Sporting CP, have also been linked with the centre-back.
