In a hypothetical draft, Brighton & Hove Albion selected Liverpool's 23-year-old Netherlands international Ryan Gravenberch with the 12th pick to fill an important position and provide a long-term option for their midfield. The move was prompted by uncertainty regarding the long-term futures of midfielders Pascal Groß and James Milner, as well as Manchester United's interest in Carlos Baleba.
Gravenberch, who has 25 caps and one goal for his country, joined Liverpool in September 2023 and is under contract until 2032. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €90.00m.
