This season, Bournemouth, Everton, and Bayer Leverkusen have been mentioned as possible clubs for Sevilla FC's Spanish right-back, Juanlu Sánchez. More recently, it has been reported that Juventus has identified the 22-year-old as a priority for strengthening their defence in the winter transfer period. Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio stated that Juventus proposed a loan with an option to buy. It is thought that this type of offer will not convince Sevilla, as the club requires a sale to raise funds.
Last summer, Juanlu received interest from other clubs after he played for Spain in the Olympics. Sevilla rejected an offer from Napoli which the club considered to be insufficient. Sevilla later agreed to a transfer with Wolverhampton, but Juanlu Sánchez rejected the move to the Premier League. Juanlu Sánchez is a Spanish U21 international who has made 16 appearances and provided one assist in LaLiga this season. He is under contract until June 2029. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €15.00m. The offer from Napoli that was rejected last summer was reportedly between €17-18 million. Sevilla's asking price was €20 million, and it was said that Wolverhampton met this figure. In December 2025, Sevilla's asking price was again reported to be approximately €20 million.
