Bournemouth interested in loan move for Arsenal's Ethan Nwaneri

The club is reportedly in discussions for a loan transfer for the young midfielder until the end of the season.

According to information from Now.Arsenal, AFC Bournemouth is interested in signing 18-year-old English youth international and Arsenal midfielder Ethan Nwaneri on loan in January. The club, led by coach Andoni Iraola, is reportedly already in discussions for a loan deal that would last until the end of the season. It is understood that Arsenal's management is open to a temporary departure for the player during the winter transfer window, as his playing time has been limited to just four starts this season. The loan is considered a way to further his development, and Bournemouth views Nwaneri as a creative profile capable of adding inspiration to their midfield.

Nwaneri, who has 13 caps for the England U21 team, joined Arsenal in July 2024 and is under contract until 2030. In the current Premier League season, he has made 6 appearances. His market value is estimated at €40.00m by Transfermarkt. In May 2025, reports indicated that Arsenal valued the player at €80–100 million. He has previously been linked with clubs such as Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City.
