Blau-Weiß Linz targets Daniel Bachmann

The Austrian international is a candidate for a transfer following a serious injury to the club's primary goalkeeper.

Daniel Bachmann, Austria's Euro 2021 goalkeeper, is a candidate for Blau-Weiß Linz, which is looking for a new primary goalkeeper following a serious injury to Viktor Baier. Bachmann, who has 14 caps for the Austrian national team, is currently on loan from his parent club Watford to Deportivo La Coruna in the Spanish second division, where he has not received any playing time due to injury. The 31-year-old is reportedly seeking a return to Austria for family reasons, and it is expected that Blau-Weiß will loan the player until the end of the season.

The club also has other known players as alternatives, including ex-Salzburger Nico Mantl and ex-Austrianer Christian Früchtl. The name Pavao Pervan was also mentioned in Linz, but according to information from LAOLA1, this is only a rumor.
