Kepa Arrizabalaga, a 31-year-old Spanish goalkeeper, joined Arsenal from Chelsea in the summer of 2025 for 5.8 million euros. He is a goalkeeper candidate for Beşiktaş, as the club reportedly plans to sign a foreign player for that role. Chelsea had previously paid 80 million euros to Athletic Bilbao for Kepa in 2018. His contract with Arsenal has two years remaining. It is said that Kepa is open to a transfer after becoming a lower-priority choice than David Raya.
Kepa and Chelsea's Filip Jorgensen are among the players being considered by Beşiktaş. It has been suggested that football director Önder Özen has given his approval for two candidates. Beşiktaş's management may begin procedures for one of their targets, depending on reports from the technical staff. The Spanish international has earned 13 caps for his country, and Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €7 million. He has also been linked with Inter.
