As part of their search for a new central defender to partner Emmanuel Agbadou, Beşiktaş have inquired about the conditions for a transfer of Chelsea's Benoît Badiashile. The French player, who has two caps for his country, is one of several candidates being considered, with Aymeric Laporte and Marcos Senesi also having been on their list. Chelsea paid a transfer fee of €38 million to Monaco for Badiashile in 2023. The 24-year-old is reportedly looking to join a club where he can get more playing time, having made 8 Premier League appearances in the 2025/2026 season.
Due to the high costs involved, Beşiktaş management is considering a loan deal with a purchase option. It is stated that Badiashile is not interested in a loan move, but Beşiktaş plans to make direct contact with him. His contract at Chelsea is valid until 2030 and his Transfermarkt market value is €18.00m. Olympique Marseille, Juventus, and Milan have also been linked with an interest in the defender.
