Beşiktaş adds Ferdi Kadıoğlu to its list of targets

The Turkish club has reportedly made the Brighton player a priority for a potential transfer.

As signing a left-back is a priority, the Beşiktaş board has added Ferdi Kadıoğlu to its list of targets. Kadıoğlu plays for Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion and previously played for Fenerbahçe. It has been learned that official attempts to sign the national player will commence after the New Year.

The 26-year-old footballer has a market value of 28 million Euros and has played 1,446 minutes in 19 matches this season; the initial plan for him is to make a loan offer until the end of the season. It is understood that Brighton is not currently receptive to the transfer, but it is stated that President Serdal Adalı will push to secure the deal. Additionally, reports indicate that coach Sergen Yalçın is also in favour of the transfer. The Turkish international, who has 28 caps and one goal for his country, joined Brighton in August 2024 and is under contract until June 2028. His former club Fenerbahçe has also been recently linked with a move for the player.
