There is interest from the Bundesliga in 21-year-old German-Italian striker Nicolò Tresoldi, and he is reportedly being monitored by Bayern Munich. Vincent Kompany is seeking a backup for Harry Kane, as the purchase option for Nicolas Jackson will not be exercised. Tresoldi was the top scorer in the Jupiler Pro League with 19 goals in 40 league and play-off appearances. He has also attracted interest from elsewhere and was previously linked with Atletico Madrid. Additionally, there is interest from Serie A, specifically from Como. It is reported that Como would need to pay an asking price of 30 million euros for the forward.

Tresoldi joined Club Brugge from Hannover in July 2025, and his contract runs until 2029. The forward has also scored 12 goals in 24 caps for Germany's U21 team. His current market value is €25.00m, according to Transfermarkt. Reports from May and June 2026 state that Club Brugge rejected an offer of over €30M.
