FC Bayern is closely monitoring the development of Kerim Alajbegović, an 18-year-old Bosnian-Herzegovinian winger. The RB Salzburg player is also being observed by Juventus Turin and AC Mailand. However, a transfer to one of these clubs after the current season is considered improbable because his former club, Bayer Leverkusen, holds a buy-back option.
Bayer Leverkusen can re-sign Alajbegovic for eight million euros, and it is considered almost certain this option will be used. German and Austrian media have also previously reported that Leverkusen intends to exercise the clause. Alajbegovic, who has 6 caps and 1 goal for Bosnia-Herzegovina, joined Salzburg from Leverkusen in July 2025 for a fee reported to be between €2 million and €2.5 million, and his contract is valid until June 2029. In the current domestic league season, he has scored 7 goals and made 2 assists in 18 appearances. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €8.00m.
