Bayern Munich could re-sign Paul Wanner from PSV

A buy-back option could facilitate a transfer for the playmaker despite the German club's cautious spending plans.

PSV could lose Paul Wanner despite Bayern Munich not planning to make any large purchases this summer. Supervisory board member Uli Hoeness told BILD that the German club intends to be cautious with its spending due to dwindling financial reserves.

However, this stance may not prevent a move for Wanner, as Bayern has a buy-back option to re-sign the playmaker for what is described as a relatively modest amount. Such a transfer would likely not be considered a 'large move' by the club. The exact fee of the buy-back clause is not known. PSV signed the twenty-year-old German-Austrian midfielder for fifteen million euros last summer on a contract that runs until mid-2030. Wanner has 9 appearances and 1 goal for Germany U21. His current Transfermarkt market value is €14.00m.
