Bayer Leverkusen is interested in the profile of French winger Dilane Bakwa, who is having a difficult season at the age of 23 with Nottingham Forest. After his transfer from RC Strasbourg for €35 million, the attacker has had difficulty establishing himself in England. He has made approximately a dozen appearances in the Premier League, recording one assist in 10 league games. This is a decrease from his form at the beginning of the season for Strasbourg, where he managed one goal and three assists in just three Ligue 1 appearances.

Despite having a contract that runs until 2030, his limited playing time has led his entourage to consider new options for the next transfer window to find a situation more suited to his qualities. The Bundesliga club is considering a reorganization of its attacking sector this summer after a mixed season and is seeking dynamic players who can be impactful with the ball. Bayer Leverkusen was also interested in Bakwa last summer and considers him an opportunity to bring dynamism to their offensive flanks. The France U21 international has a current market value of €28.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
