Aston Villa and Newcastle have both watched 21-year-old Spanish centre-back Jacobo Ramon in recent weeks to assess his immediate qualities and long-term prospects. The 2005-born player is also being considered for the future by other European clubs.
However, a potential transfer is affected by Real Madrid, who sold Ramon to Como in July 2025 but included a buy-back clause. The Spanish club can re-sign him for €8 million in the upcoming summer, with the fee increasing slightly for the two seasons after that. If Real Madrid does not activate the three-year buy-back option, the club will receive 50% of any future sale. Ramón, who has been capped twice by Spain U21, has made 24 appearances and scored two goals in Serie A this season. His contract with Como is valid until 2030, and his market value is €18.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
