RSC Anderlecht is interested in Tawanda Maswanhise, a 23-year-old Zimbabwean and English right-winger from the Scottish club Motherwell. The two parties are reportedly in contact, and Motherwell is said to be asking for a fee of around €3 million. Anderlecht had been in touch with Motherwell over the past 24 hours to explore a potential deal, as the Belgian club is scanning the winger market in the final hours of the window to address issues on the right flank that have persisted for a year. Maswanhise joined the club in August 2024 and is under contract until May 2027.
He has scored 13 goals and provided 2 assists in 21 Scottish Premiership appearances this season. The winger has 17 caps and 2 goals for Zimbabwe, and his current Transfermarkt market value is €700k. Other clubs, including Rangers and Celtic, have also been linked with him. In January 2026, reports suggested Motherwell's asking price for a potential move to Rangers was between £4 million and £5 million, while it was also reported that Blackburn Rovers were prepared to offer up to £1.5 million.
