Serbian midfielder Aleksa Cvetković, 21, will continue his career in the MLS with Vancouver. It has been confirmed that the two clubs have successfully concluded negotiations, and Vancouver will pay a transfer fee of 1,500,000 euros. Cvetković, who developed in Crvena zvezda's youth categories before moving to OFK Beograd, had been of interest to the American club for some time. They had closely monitored his performances, especially during the previous season when he attracted attention from foreign clubs.
Negotiations were intensified in the preceding period, and the deal is now concluded, which explains why Cvetković was not included in the squad for OFK Beograd's league match against Novi Pazar.
