Al Ittihad has reportedly submitted an official bid to Club Brugge for Raphael Onyedika, a 25-year-old Nigerian defensive midfielder. The Saudi club joins Eintracht Frankfurt, who are said to be trying to complete a deal. Club Brugge is understood to be open to a sale, as Onyedika is in his final contract year and the club had reportedly promised to cooperate with a transfer. According to Fabrizio Romano, Brugge values the player at around €10 million due to his contract status.
It remains unclear whether Al-Ittihad's bid surpasses Frankfurt's offer or what financial proposal has been offered to the player. Onyedika, who has 26 caps for Nigeria, joined Club Brugge in August 2022 for a reported €10 million. His current Transfermarkt market value is €23.00m. Earlier in 2026, valuations were higher, and a bid from Wolfsburg in February, which was reportedly over €20 million, was rejected.
