Yanis Massolin's agent, Yvan Le Mee, confirmed that PSV and Villarreal had wanted the 23-year-old French-Algerian attacking midfielder. Le Mee stated his belief that Massolin can prove his worth at Inter, where he will participate in the pre-season with the objective of staying with the club. The agent explained that the coach, Chivu, will make an evaluation at the end of August to decide if Massolin will remain or if a loan to another Serie A club would be better for him.
Le Mee strongly refuted any possibility of his client being used as a permanent makeweight in a swap deal, questioning why Inter would invest in the player only to let him go without an opportunity. Massolin joined Inter in February 2026, and his contract runs until June 30, 2030. His current Transfermarkt market value is €4.00m.
