Aberdeen have included Martin Boyle on a list of potential summer striking options. Boyle is a 32-year-old Australia international who also holds Scottish citizenship. Record Sport previously revealed that he is set to leave Hibs at the end of the season. The Dons had attempted to sign the local player before he agreed to his last contract at Easter Road. He joined his current club in August 2022 and has earned 41 caps and scored 10 goals for Australia.

This season in the Scottish Premiership, Boyle has made 31 appearances, scoring 6 goals and providing 2 assists. Boyle, whose current market value is €400k according to Transfermarkt, is on a list of targets that is understood to be comprehensive. While Aberdeen have started to pursue several targets, they will not make any formal offers until their Premiership status is confirmed. The forward is expected to have other choices, which include lucrative options in Australia and Asia, and there is also interest from England.
