In May 2025, reports indicated Real Salt Lake was preparing an offer between approximately €900,000 and €1.3 million. Around the same period (May-August 2025), his Transfermarkt value was cited at €1.5 million. However, he completed a transfer from Legia Warszawa to Rio Ave in August 2025 for a reported fee of €250,000. By early 2026, his Transfermarkt value was reported to have dropped to €700,000. In May 2026, Rio Ave's initial investment was again noted as being around €250,000.

Our valuation is driven by the concrete €250,000 transfer fee paid by Rio Ave for Marc Gual in August 2025. Subsequent reports indicate poor performance and a desire from the club to offload the player to 'minimize financial losses' on that investment. This strongly suggests his current value is at or, more likely, below the fee paid less than a year ago.
